Most cells filled in, almost everything solvable by scanning.
Easy sudoku is the entry-level rating, designed so a complete beginner can finish a puzzle. The starting grid is dense enough that the first few cells fall out almost instantly, which builds momentum. Every clue you place opens up two or three more, so a clean solve feels like dominoes. You almost never need a technique beyond cross-hatching and naked singles.
Best for a quick coffee-break solve, teaching the rules to someone new, or building a streak when life is busy.
Difficulty context: About a third as hard as Medium and a tenth as hard as Expert.
