What we’ve shipped recently, what we’re building now, and what we’re considering. Updated as priorities shift. Full changelog →
From the last few weeks. The headline stuff; full details on /whats-new.
Multiplayer sudoku: race, co-op, and spectator
Real-time multiplayer in three modes. Race a friend, solve together, or stream a match. The differentiator no other sudoku site does well.
Sudoku scanning practice mode
Targeted drill for naked singles at /sudoku/practice. Endless mini-rounds, streak + accuracy tracking. The single most useful sudoku skill, practiced in burst form instead of full-puzzle solves.
Word Bomb, the 9th game
Fragment-prompt typing under time pressure. A 2-4 letter fragment appears (TH, STR, TION), type any word containing it in 7 seconds, 3 lives. The BombParty mechanic as a quick single-player run.
Per-result share cards on every game
Finish any of the 9 games, hit Copy link, paste into Discord / iMessage / X. The preview expands into a real card showing your actual score, time, or board state instead of a generic site card.
Past-puzzle archives for every daily
Browse the last 30-60 days of each daily, with answers and grids visible. Wordle, Connections, Mini Crossword, and Sudoku all covered. Useful for missed days and long-tail SEO surface.
Free sudoku tools: solver, printable, and word list
/sudoku/solver runs the engine on any puzzle you paste in. /sudoku/print generates a paper-ready puzzle with auto-printed solution. /wordle/word-list ships the full accepted dictionary with a live checker.
Daily-puzzle emails and PWA push notifications
Subscribe on /today for a single morning ping (email or push, your pick) with that day's lineup. One ping a day max, easy unsubscribe.
27 strategy guides at /guides
Long-form articles covering every game plus how-to-host-a-tournament, technique deep-dives (X-wing, Y-wing, pointing pairs, skyscraper, swordfish), grid-archetype patterns for Connections, scoring explainers, and how-to-play beginner guides for all nine games. Grouped by game with jump nav.
Streak grace day
Miss one day and your sudoku or Wordle streak holds. Miss two in a row and it resets. Most-requested feature from the email inbox.
What's actively being built or pushed forward right now.
Distribution + creator outreach
Getting the site in front of multiplayer-sudoku-friendly creators (Cracking the Cryptic et al). The code is the easy part; the audience is the harder one.
Ideas we'd like to build but haven't committed to. If one of these would matter to you, tell us, feedback shifts priorities.
Tournament brackets
Single-elimination bracket UI for 4-16 player tournaments. Each match becomes a race; winners advance automatically. Waiting on enough multiplayer regulars to justify the build.
Public profile showcase improvements
Recent matches feed, friends' streaks compared side-by-side, sparkline activity. Some of this is shipped (per-mode breakdown + avg mistakes); more polish welcome.
Native mobile apps
The PWA is already installable on iOS and Android home screens with home-screen shortcuts. Native wrapping (Capacitor) is straightforward when there's an audience that asks for it.
